Volunteer With YCBN
Young people and supporters can contribute their time, skills and energy to our WASH, digital skills, youth empowerment, environmental and community development activities. We are building this volunteer programme and will be clear about the areas where volunteers can currently be involved.

Areas where volunteers can contribute
Volunteer roles currently under discussion include:
- WASH promotion and hygiene education
- Digital skills tuition support (computers, coding basics)
- Youth events and training facilitation support
- Communications, photography and social media support
- Environmental awareness and waste management activities
- Administrative and logistical support
Eligibility and expectations
- Volunteers should be at least 18 years old, unless joining a school-and youth-facing activity approved with a responsible adultand guardians.
- All volunteers will be required to follow YCBN's codes of conduct, safeguarding and confidentiality requirements.
- Volunteers engaged in activities involving children and vulnerable people will undergo orientation and may be asked to provide references or police clearance where required by the law.
- Volunteering is voluntary: no payment is provided, unless otherwise agreed for specific professional services.
- Volunteers are expected to commit to agreed schedules and communicate openly about availability.
